Can i have two different versions of microsoft office in the same pc?

i have a pc with windows xp and Microsoft office 2007 . but the problem is that the files made in Microsoft office 2007 do not work with previous versions of office around my area . i tried saving in Microsoft 1997-2003 format but the problem was not solved as it disables some of the features (like word art editing) used and doesn't functions properly .

the issue is that can i have Microsoft office 2003 and Microsoft office 2007 in the same computer or will i have to remove Microsoft office 2007 to install office 2003

Can i have two different versions of microsoft office in the same pc?
Yes. I have 3 versions
Reply:You shouldn't have more than one version of Office. It should remove or upgrade the older version but doesn't always work that way.

When you go to save the file, you're given the option of the format, save in Word 97 - 2003.

If you save in the Word 2007 .docx format, other users who do not have Office 2007 need to download the compatibility pack from Microsoft to open these documents.
