Microsoft office home and student 2007 -- installation problems - Pls help!!?

ok I bought the Microsoft Home and Student 2007 program new, but when I tried to install it it didn't recognize my cd-R drive. Come to find out my cd-R drive is dead. So I installed the "trial version" from the Microsoft website then clicked the button for "activate my product". But it is asking me pay for it again, I can't find an option to enter in my product key. Is there a way I can download this program from the internet and just enter in my product key? The cd-r is useless to me obviously.

Sorry, that is not possible. I remember 2 to 4 years ago, I trying to install office xp and it wouldn't let me because there was very memory to install this product on the harddrive without the cd in the cd drive! Therefore, what you are trying attempt is not possible!!!!
