The computer I bought about 18 months ago had Microsoft Office preloaded. Now I am getting messages from Microsoft to say the version I am using is not the original even though I paid for an original version when I bought the computer. What will happen if I just go on using it?

where did you get it ?call support either there or ms support they will help you! should not be a charge from either good luck --oh it may stop working after a few more notices this is why you need to call where you bought it from have you tried to update it

Sometimes, office pre-loaded is a trial version so this might be the reason.
I personally hate microsoft %26amp; use the free compatable Open Office.
Contact the computer store that sold the computer to you for advise or contact Microsoft.

Call Microsoft and tell them about it. They will ask when and where you bought it and other stuff to help them sort out the people who conned you. They have often given a free copy of their software to people in such circumstances
