Microsoft virtual pc 2007 problem?

hey guys i have installed microsoft virtual pc 2007 on my windows xp computer, but when i'm trying to work on it , a message always pop-up before starting telling me , that virtual pc has detected an invalid or missing Product ID... but thing is that i have downlod it from microsoft.. and on install there weren't a place for a serial number or something like that.....





so can u help me???

What i meant is that if you have XP home edition the virtual PC doesn't work with that version of XP.





Virtual PC 2007 runs on: Windows XP Professional, Windows XP Tablet PC, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista Business, Windows Vista Enterprise, and Windows Vista Ultimate.


I've installed it today and it does ask you for a key, but its not something you can input, it takes it from your on XP key.


So if it doesn't work for you its because you have XP home or copy of XP:)
