I re-installed Windows Xp on my laptop and lost a lot of data. Including my sound driver, video driver, all which i was able to download and re-install. Now the only thing that remains incomplete is Microsoft Office. Where and how can i download ll Office applications ( word, excel, powerpoint etc) for my laptop [not on a trial period] ? thank you. If i can find this on the microsoft website , please provide a direct link to it. Thanks
Microsoft Office?
I'm sorry, but you gotta buy those applications.
and by 'buy' i mean 'pay a lot of money'.
you have 4 options.
1: search frantically for your original office instillation CD.
2: Buy a New copy of office.
3: Illegally download an Illegal copy of office using P2P software, or bit-torrent. (did I mention doing this is illegal?)
4: get a free, legal, open source alternative, like openoffice.org
Reply:You cannot download office for free, you can purchase it and download via the web, but I recommend going on ebay and buying A GENUINE but OLDER copy as it does the same things as the new 2007/8 Versions, and is also simpler
I recommend 2003 Pro. It has them all on it.
Word, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher, InfoPath, FrontPage,
Outlook. (NOT outlook express but MS OFFICE OUTLOOK)
Hope this helps.
Reply:you can download powerpoint viewer ect.. but the office applications are not freebies, their products that cost $$$
try open office if your insistent on free and cannot find a copy.

Reply:You cant download office. You must purchase it
Reply:The software that you want is part of the Microsoft Office Suite. It is not free. The complete package costs about $280 and the Basic package is about $150 or so. There is also a Student/Teacher version that runs about $130.
Reply:http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/produc...
It costs $499.95
Reply:MS office does not come preloaded with Laptops.
So you must have bought it.
Use the same CD to reinstall it.
If it has come specially preloaded; there will be a registration number sticker in the underside of your laptop.
Using that you can request for a new installation from Microsoft.
