Documents created with microsoft software can be read and edited with open office applications.
Reply:The most recent version I have will allow you to do that at least for word documents. I use O.O. at home exclusively and send documents via e-mail and through the mail on diskette and the people that get them use MS WORD with no problem. When you create a document on O.O. make sure you save it as a WI\ORD document
