You say you work for Microsoft, why are you asking us?
Reply:MOZILLA FIREFOX!
Reply:My experience told me that firefox is safer than IE.

But firefox doesn't support certain websites.

So I will use firefox for all the websites except when I can't see what I expect after a click or submission button, then I switch to IE.

There are just too many viruses for IE !!!

Oooh! Just got automatic updated to 1.5.0.7 of firefox.

It is fast and sweet.

Ans. to your additional info.

I trusted microsoft windows auto update that they are really trying to keep on updating windows and explorer. BUT there are just too many hackers to hack IE. So we better stay away from IE at this moment.

After all, if you don't even trust microsoft, then you can't use your PC to ask your question. (cos you are using windows to surf internet, I suppose)

(Well, you have the other choice Mac)
Reply:mozila firbox is more safe and also carries more facilities with it

Reply:yep, too many virus apps for IE as its so popular plus microsoft can look at ny time, where you have been on IE, there are hidden files in your comp that you cant delete or even read without a lot of trouble.

i use opera as a browser, you can tell it to "pretend" to be IE so that the few websites not supported will work fine anyway.
Reply:You might want to look at this site about firefox.

You can look at oddball's source and then look at this

http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic44405.ht...

to see how oddball's source copied and pasted to make Firefox look bad.

Then you can go straight to the untouched legitimate source and compare each browsers patched and unpatched holes, make sure you also compare how "critical" these holes are to each browser. The conclusion is that no browser is perfect, but Insecure Exploder is the least secure browser you can be using.

Actually the whole operating system Windows is very dangerous:

This is why I'm using Linux with the Firefox browser and Opera

One thought for the road:

Incontinent Exploder supports web standards very poorly. This means that because of over 80% of users use IE, then web developers have to downgrade their websites to work properly in IE. So when superior browsers such as Firefox or Opera browsers view a website, it sometimes does not show up correctly because the website was "broken" to show up properly in IE. Try the test yourself using IE, Firefox and then Opera.

Insecure Explosion consistently rates less secure than Firefox and Opera

Reply:Hi dear

Thanks to your points there are few things i would like to explore to you. Both are browsers and both are a big company, mozilla is famous becos of its fastness and the security prespective and if you see a small example like errors like 500 Internal Server error Mozilla describes the error but microsoft doesnt and it just throws called 500 Internal Server Error, all other reasons can be discarded in my view why i use mozilla
