Microsoft's Firefox??

I came across a site which says microsoft has developed its own distribution of firefox.......is it an official site?

http://msfirefox.com/

Another question:

if microsoft *actually* developes a modification of firefox......(LOL),will you take the risk to use it?

Microsoft's Firefox??
No, that's a parody site. It's been around for years. The download links on that site just take you to the microsft.com download area for IE7.
Reply:I think we may have stumbled on a spoof site. Funny though. For example here's an extract:

"Would my Favorites be affected?

When you first install Microsoft Firefox, all saved Favorites from your old browsers will automatically be migrated over. This removals the pain of manual favorites re-entry.

Note: Some saved favorites may link to sites Microsoft deems inappropriate or dangerous. i.e. Google.com - Such saved entries are automatically removed and the ability to manually add them disabled. Microsoft knows best."
Reply:Looks like a joke to me.

And it were true, no I wouldn't use it. The only thing Microscum could do is make it more pretty and less secure.
Reply:Microsoft is Copying Fire Fox Because Internet Explorer isnt Good at aLl!!!!!!!!!
Reply:Firefox is far better then Internet Explorer
Reply:Can't be an official site. I just came off MSN.com and had to clean out part of my cache. I'm not seeing anywhere near the traffic on msfirefox.com. Has it occurred to you that the name might be a play on "misfire"?

;-)

I probably couldn't use an msfirefox anyhow because Microsoft doesn't develop for Debian or Gentoo. I don't understand why.
