I agree with one of the answers here on http://www.openoffice.org , it's a free office suite that can be used for basic home use.

Reply:Well there is a free trial on the Windows website of Office 07. I would try that first and decide if you really want it then see if there are any Office XP or Office 03 on Ebay. Thats your best spot to find any office product relesed before Office 07 as you can only get the latest relesed version of Office in stores.

Reply:hmmmm, i have WinOffice2kpro and WinOfficeXPPro, both are similar once you learn one office you can easily learn about the added features, Both versions serve me well, i don't really need any more than what i have. And defineatley can't justify spending more money on the same thing. Mostly i use Excel and Word. Excel is a flat spread sheet that is very good and easy to use. Word is a word processor that is very good also.





Oh, also have WinOffice97Pro, run away from that, does not play well with anything.





If you are using an older version of office, insure that you get the security downloads at the very least.

Open Office is free; http://www.openoffice.org/ I use the Polish version as I learning Polish. Not sure it do all you want though.


I use WordPad for English.


Sorry, this all I really know. I did use years ago, but, just got tired of the expense.
