Microsoft Intellitype Pro keyboard not working with IOGear KVM switch?

I have new Microsoft Intellitype Pro USB keyboard with all these funky programmable buttons, zoom controls (?) etc.

I work with 3 computers using an IOGear 4 port USB KVM.

the keyboard works with the KVM (basic typing functions) but not the programmable buttons, audio control buttons or any of the other goodies built into this keyboard, which I would really like to use.

I had a similar problem with an hp multimedia keyboard. It turned out I had to download additional software from hp in order to be able to reconfigure/customize the keyboard. So, I'd suggest you go to:

Then, in the Search Microsoft.com box, type in "Intellitype Keyboard Pro" (without quotes) and sift through the results for your specific model keyboard and OS. Your IOGear port is not a problem.
Reply:try installing the software on all three machines.
