Can I put Microsoft Office on a blank CD?

My Aunt has Microsoft Office on her computer. Is there any way I could burn the program to a blank CD and then put it on my computer at home? I had Microsoft Office on my computer, but it was only the trial edition and now it won't work.

Actually, I don't even really need Microsoft Office, I would just like to have Microsoft Word.

So, how can I do this?

If you don't really need Microsoft Office try the free alternative to it, OpenOffice.

You can download it from here:

http://www.openoffice.org/
Reply:it is possible i have a copy on blank cd. I just copied the files off of the computer and onto the disk and copied them back
Reply:Anything else you would like to steal?
Reply:No it is a protected software. also the program itself is shared with the windows operating system. Ask your aunt if she ahs the disk or even the restore disk for her sytem it might be on there. if not then no. Or you could ask your friends if they have the a copy. I dont think office has to be registered like windows has to be. So if you borrow it be sure to get the serial number as well. If not then go to someplace like a sams or costco if you have one in your area and you can get word soemtimes for like 19.99 to 39.99. OR you could gind out if any of your friends have the old verison of a prgram called bearshare. if they have the 5.25 ver then you can see if they can see if they can download it for you or if they have it on disk then load it. Do not go to bearshare now and download bearshare it is now like napster. but the ole verison still in effect has pier to pier downloads( people's computer to each other). Good luck
Reply:no, the directile for microsoft office is compelled with micrognasms which makes the nearly impossible
