Pirated microsoft office 2003. i use pc cillin 2006 antivirus..?

i scan wif my pc cillin and it detects that the pirated microsoft office have security threats.. should i ignore or uninstall my microsoft office?? can i update my windows if i use pirated microsoft office?

You can get buy a legal copy of MS-Office or get a free substitute to it, the OpenOffice. It has everything that MS-Office offers, but you may not be familiar with the interface. Here is the link:

Reply:Microsoft Office 2003 has many security flaws that have been updated. Since you cannot update your version you, probably, are infected as Pc-Cillian is telling you. Removing the infection will do no good because the flaw that allows the infection into your computer is still there. You will continue to be infected and reinfected as long as you have it on your computer.





I recommend you uninstall the illegal copy of office and purchase a copy or use the free OpenOffice program. OpenOffice is compatable with Office 2003 so you shouldn't have a problem with previous data working with it.
Reply:You can't update because microsoft verifies the legitimacy of the software before it downloads. If I were you, I would purchase a legitimate copy if you need to have it.

Reply:If u are using pirated copy then no need to worried but keep in mind to not to update ur computer from internet specially windows update because sometimes microsoft send an update automatically and if u update ur computer then a note is come every where from microsoft genuine window that ur copy of window is not genuine and u are a part of illegal copy user
