Oi. Microsoft Office problems x_x?

Okay. BIG PROBLEM. I have a powerpoint due on Friday for my science class. I have tried numerous times to figure it out on the computer I'm currently on and my father's computer. Both do not have this software as I learned today on my father's computer (I can promise he had it the last time I needed a project done). The first time this happened, we contacted Microsoft and got sent a fake disc with all of the supposed Office features on it. It allowed me to uninstall the previous Office, but did not allow me to reinstall it for one reason - it did NOT come with a product key which is essential. I've looked for this product key and cannot find it. How can I get Microsoft Powerpoint reinstalled soon? By tomorrow atleast? I asked my father to try Office Depot and he's going to, but is there any other way?

* By the way, I am sure it is a fake disc. I have gone to Microsoft's website and done those tests to prove if it is real or not. It did NOT pass a few of them.

One solution is to install (for free) OpenOffice at www.openoffice.org. This program is NOT a Microsoft program, but it will allow you to create and edit powerpoint files. If your powerpoint presentation is not very complicated, whatever you use to display the program at school should display it well enough. If you are concerned about a computer at school displaying your presentation, you might want to also install OpenOffice on whatever computer you will use at school, to make things more compatible.

If you really need to have MS Office, you might consider downloading a trial version at the MS website (www.microsoft.com) and never going through with the registration/payment. Alternately, you can also (if you are in college and have an .edu email address) d/l the full version of Office 2007 at www.theultimatesteal.com, for the price of only $60, but I don't know how long that would take to get going.
