When I run Microsoft word when there is another user logged in, the program freezes?

When I run any application from Microsoft office when there is another user logged in, the program freezes from the start. The only way is to start with one user logged on from the beginning or restart the computer. I have also tried ending all the tasks under my user name in task manager and restarting "explorer.exe". I have also tried to log the other person off, then, running Microsoft word but when I select "print" it freezes. I have also tried deleting the "normal.dot" file in C:\Documents and Settings\User_name\Application Data\Microsoft so it would create a fresh one. I tried to look for ar data folderr in C:\Documents and Settings\User_name\Application Data\Microsoft but could not find one. My computer is running a XP. How can I fix this problem

I am thinking that you don't have enough RAM installed. Make sure you have at least 512MB ... if not, install more. Ideally you should have 1GB of ram.
Reply:use a recovery cd
